In this role, you'll combine data, analytics, and business understanding to support decision-making, improve processes, and contribute to the continued development of a growing and data-driven Purchase organization.

Purchase Research & Intelligence (PRI) is the data and reporting function within our Purchase organization. As a recently established team within Commercial Development & Enablement, PRI supports Purchase with reporting, analytics, and commercial insights that enable informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
As part of the commercial organization, Purchase is the team's primary stakeholder and internal customer. This means the role combines analytical work with a strong understanding of the business context behind the data. Working closely with colleagues across Purchase, as well as the Digital department and the Digital Trading Products (DTP) team, you'll contribute to strengthening the organization's analytical capabilities and support the continued development of data-driven ways of working

As our Associate Specialist, you'll help strengthen the analytical capabilities of the Purchase organization through reporting, analytics, and data-driven insights.
Your main responsibilities include:
Supporting the ongoing development and maintenance of reporting solutions used across the Purchase organization.
Turning commercial questions and business needs into structured analytical outputs and actionable insights.
Preparing analyses and calculations that support sourcing decisions, commercial cases, and business priorities.
Working with purchasing and commercial data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Supporting the Purchase organization with data, reporting, and analytical insights as needed.
Contributing to the development and testing of AI-assisted tools and other data-driven solutions.
Identifying opportunities to improve reporting, analytical processes, and Purchase workflows.
Collaborating with colleagues across Purchase, Data, Analytics & AI, and Digital Trading Products to strengthen data-driven ways of working.

You are eager to develop your technical capabilities while building a strong understanding of the commercial context behind the data.
Furthermore, we imagine that you bring:
A Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Business Analytics, or a related discipline combining commercial understanding with strong analytical capabilities.
0-2 years of experience working with data, analytics, reporting, or related disciplines.
Solid SQL skills and an interest in working with data extraction, transformation, and preparation.
Experience working with business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
Strong Excel skills and an interest in developing advanced analytical capabilities.
Experience using Python or similar tools for analysis, automation, or data preparation.
Exposure to Databricks or other cloud-based data platforms is considered an advantage.
An interest in reporting logic, data modelling, and analytical problem-solving.
Curiosity towards new technologies, including AI-assisted tools and their practical application in a business environment.
A structured and analytical approach combined with a proactive and collaborative mindset.
