Join us in strengthening cyber security across an international healthcare organization

At Abacus Medicine Group, security comes first. We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Security Operations Specialist to join our IT Security & Compliance team and help develop and operate our Security Operations capability based on the Microsoft Security platform.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a solid IT operations background who enjoys investigating problems, understanding root causes, and taking ownership of solutions in a modern Microsoft environment.

What you will do:

• Develop and operate our Security Operations function (SOC)

• Monitor, investigate, and respond to security alerts and incidents

• Manage and optimize Microsoft security technologies, including:

  • Microsoft Sentinel

  • Microsoft Defender for Endpoint

  • Microsoft Defender for Cloud

  • Microsoft Defender for Identity

• Perform security assessments and identify vulnerabilities

• Drive root-cause analysis and implement long-term improvements

• Work closely with IT Operations, IT Support, and other stakeholders across the business

• Maintain security documentation, procedures, and policies

• Support security awareness and best-practice adoption across IT teams

• Stay current on emerging security threats, trends, and technologies.
  

What we're looking for:

• Around 3+ years of relevant experience in IT Operations, Infrastructure, Network Administration, System Administration, or IT Security

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies, including Azure environments

• Experience with security monitoring, incident response, and operational security processes

• Good understanding of security frameworks, standards, and best practices

• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive them through to resolution

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team

• Genuine interest in operational cyber security.
