Legal Compliance Specialist

Join us as a Legal Compliance Specialist and play a key role in ensuring our organization meets the highest standards of data protection and legal compliance. You will act as a trusted advisor and partner across the business, helping shape how we work with GDPR and other regulations in a fast-evolving global environment.

You will become part of a dedicated Legal Compliance team consisting of specialists and a Director, working closely with the broader Legal department as one unit. The role involves cross-functional collaboration across the organization globally, as well as interaction with external stakeholders such as legal advisors and our external Data Protection Officers.

In this role, you will:
• Monitor, assess, and support compliance with GDPR, Trade Secrets, AI Act, and marketing regulations
• Act as a trusted business partner, advising stakeholders across the organization globally
• Provide training and awareness programs on data privacy and compliance
• Develop and maintain incident response plans for data breaches and privacy incidents
• Support departments in implementing and maintaining GDPR compliance
• Conduct risk assessments and compliance audits
• Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and compliance documentation
• Serve as the primary legal and compliance partner for the Group Sustainability function
• Travel to our other European office locations approximately once per quarter
Fuel for your success in the role
We imagine that you bring:
• At least 3 years of experience within data protection and GDPR
• Experience with trade secret law, the AI Act, marketing, and CSRD is an advantage, but not required
• Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
• The ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• A strong understanding of IT infrastructure, security measures, and privacy-by-design principles
• Experience working with international markets (an advantage)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
