Drive meaningful change
As an IT Support Specialist, you play a key role in delivering a high-quality and consistent IT support experience across Abacus Medicine Group. Beyond resolving user issues efficiently, you take responsibility for service desk delivery and quality in line with agreed Service Level Agreements. With your experience and service desk know-how, you bring best practices into the daily operation of the Danish IT Service Desk and the global team, contributing to strong and consistent service standards.
Alongside classic IT support, the role includes responsibility for the operational and administrative foundation of the service desk. You support secure IT operations through license management, software catalogues, asset control, and procurement of hardware and software, while collaborating with suppliers when needed.
Your main responsibilities include:
Providing hands-on IT support to employees via in-person support, written communication, and on-the-phone
Handling service desk administration, including license management, software catalogues, asset management, and procurement
Managing hardware and software setup, including onboarding and offboarding of joiners, movers, and leavers
Monitoring and meeting agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) in daily support delivery
Conducting regular user, license, and asset reviews to support compliance and cost control
Supporting Windows environments, Microsoft tools, and meeting room solutions
Coordinating with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure smooth daily IT operations
Your Profile
This role is a strong match for either an experienced IT supporter with solid administrative capabilities, or an administrative specialist with solid hands-on IT skills. Regardless of background, you enjoy working close to users, combining technical problem-solving with structured, detail-oriented service desk work.
We imagine that you:
Have 5+ years of experience within IT support, IT administration, or a similar role with strong IT exposure
Bring either a formal IT supporter background or an administrative background with solid hands-on IT experience
Have strong experience with Microsoft tools, including Windows, Entra ID, and Intune
Are comfortable working with service desk tools such as the Atlassian suite (e.g. Jira, Confluence)
Have a good understanding of IT security, compliance, and best practices
Communicate clearly and professionally in English, both verbally and in writing
Are structured, service-minded, and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment
Willingness to travel occasionally as part of the role

You will join the Global Service Desk Team, part of IT Core Services and Security within Digital at Abacus Medicine Group. We work closely across borders and functions, supporting colleagues throughout the organization.
