Are you motivated by working with data, commercial decisions, and improving market access in Norway? We are looking for a Portfolio Manager to join our Business Development Norway team, where you will play a central role in managing and developing our Norwegian pharmaceutical portfolio.

At Abacus Medicine Group, you will join an international and fast‑growing organisation focused on improving access to medicine across Europe. 

As part of the Business Development Norway team, you and your colleagues ensure that the Norwegian market has better access to a competitive portfolio of medicines. The team follows market developments closely, manages a growing product portfolio, and makes daily commercial decisions that support our position in the Norwegian market as we continue to expand.  

 

Are you ready to embark on this journey with us? 

You will play an active role in managing the Norwegian portfolio through responsibilities such as: 

 

  • Monitor and manage the Norwegian pharmaceutical portfolio, including pricing, product mix and commercial performance. 

  • Follow market developments closely and identify new opportunities for growth or optimisation. 

  • Manage inventory levels by balancing demand, purchasing and market conditions. 

  • Evaluate trading risks and returns and make well‑informed commercial decisions. 

  • Maintain and develop reporting and analytical tools to support data‑driven decisions. 

  • Support ad‑hoc commercial and analytical tasks, including contact with customer

To succeed in this role, you bring a strong analytical mindset and a structured way of working. You are comfortable making decisions based on data and commercial considerations, and you thrive in an environment where priorities can shift quickly. Collaboration is key in our team, so you value clear communication, knowledge sharing and working closely with colleagues across functions. 
 
Furthermore, we imagine that you bring:  

  • A degree within business, economics, finance, engineering or another analytical field. 

  • Experience within pricing, analytics, trading or portfolio management is an advantage. 

  • Fluency in English; Norwegian or another Scandinavian language is a plus. 

  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with data, including Excel, Power BI, and reporting or data‑modelling tools 

  • Basic understanding of coding concepts and willingness to learn more 

  • Collaborative mindset and strong problem‑solving abilities
