Drive meaningful change

As a Student Analyst, you’ll help power smart decisions in our Purchasing Department. Partnering closely with the Purchase Research Strategist (PRS) and the External Trading team, you’ll transform data into clear insights that guide what we buy, where, and when. You’ll get hands-on with real market data, structure and improve datasets, and turn your findings into practical recommendations that make a visible difference in our day-to-day operations.

To thrive in this role, curiosity and collaboration are key. You’ll explore market signals across countries, connect external and internal data, and spot patterns and discrepancies that keep our purchasing sharp. Along the way, you’ll learn from experienced colleagues, own mini-projects, and build skills that travel with you, both academically and professionally.

Your main responsibilities include:

Supporting the PRS and Purchasing Department with ad hoc analyses.
Conducting analyses on Marketing Authorisation holders and country specific business cases.
Handling product lists and matching external data with internal datasets.
Updating reports and portfolios with the latest market data.
Monitoring trading variables to identify and follow up on discrepancies.
Helping structure purchasing data and generating insights to improve how it’s used.

Your Profile

You enjoy turning messy questions into clear answers, and you’re excited to learn by doing. You’re comfortable asking thoughtful questions, sharing ideas, and collaborating across teams.

Additionally, we imagine that you:

Are currently studying Business, Economics, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field (3rd-year Bachelor or 1st-year Master’s).
Have some exposure to working with data and/or business operations in a structured or fast-paced environment.
Bring a mindset that blends technical curiosity with commercial understanding.
Communicate confidently in English, both written and spoken.
Possess advanced Excel skills; Power BI experience is a plus (and something you can grow with us).
Take a structured, detail-oriented approach and can juggle priorities effectively.

You’ll join the External Trading team, an engaged group consisting of an External Trading Manager, External Traders, and the PRS, located within the Purchasing Department of around 45 colleagues. You’ll collaborate closely with Purchase Operations, Purchase Settlement, Clinical Trial Services, and Digital Trading Products and contribute to global purchasing activities.
