Join the Portfolio Management Sales & Trading team at Abacus Medicine and play a key role in managing and optimizing our German portfolio of medicines. As a Portfolio Analyst, you will balance trading risk with returns, manage insurance contracts, and make informed trading decisions that directly shape the portfolio’s performance.

You’ll join the German Portfolio Management team which is based at our HQ in Copenhagen. We work closely with Sales, Purchase, Supply Chain, and Product Development, combining analytical insights with commercial thinking. Your main responsibilities include:

  • Manage trading risk and actively position part of the German portfolio through pricing strategies and contract management.
  • Conduct bi-weekly pricing and ongoing portfolio management for our brands Abacus and Originalis.
  • Review monthly insurance contracts and execute trading decisions on a daily basis.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders across Purchase, Supply Chain, Portfolio Management, Sales, External Trading, and Product Development.
  • Support process documentation, market analysis, and ongoing portfolio projects.


Fuel for your success in the role

  • Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in similar or adjacent positions (student or full-time).
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret large data sets and deliver actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Fluent in English; German proficiency is a plus.
  • Proactive, self-driven, and able to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Resilience, adaptability, and a structured approach to navigating complex challenges.
