Join our Global Talent Acquisition team and help Abacus attract the best candidates worldwide! In this role, you will be the TA Partner based in Alkmaar, working closely with local managers and the People & Culture team. You will also collaborate with another TA Partner in Alkmaar, located at a different office, to ensure strong local alignment and effective knowledge sharing. You should be self-driven and confident in managing stakeholders independently, while also being a true team player who actively shares knowledge and collaborates with colleagues across our international offices.
At the same time, you’ll be an integrated part of our global TA team, collaborating daily with colleagues across Denmark, Germany, Austria, and Hungary, and reporting directly to the Head of Group Talent Acquisition, based at our HQ in Denmark.
This is your chance to take full ownership of recruitment locally, while shaping and influencing best practices across a global organization with strong growth ambitions.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Partnering with hiring managers to define staffing needs, job requirements, and recruitment strategies.
- Taking end-to-end ownership of the recruitment cycle: intake, sourcing, interviews, offer, and onboarding.
- Recruiting for a wide range of positions – including warehouse, logistics, operations, specialist, and leadership positions.
- Ensuring quality candidate screening and selection, balancing both skills and cultural fit.
- Managing ATS processes, compliance, and recruitment metrics to optimize efficiency.
- Driving employer branding, candidate experience, and diversity initiatives.
- Acting as a global team player: collaborating, sharing knowledge, and supporting colleagues across borders;
Fuel for your success in the role, we imagine you have:
- A bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field;
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a full-cycle recruitment role (in-house or agency).
- A proven track record of hiring across different levels and profiles.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (we use Teamtailor).
- Resilience, proactivity, and confidence in working independently while building strong relationships.
- Excellent communication skills, both in Dutch and English.
- A valid work permit and residence in the Netherlands.
