HR Generalist

As the HR Generalist, you are responsible for managing the administrative and operational tasks throughout the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding. Serving as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries, you provide essential support to our employees. Alongside you, the local team consists of a People & Culture Manager and a Talent Acquisition Partner. You will also be part of the global People & Culture team and collaborate on certain topics and projects.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Administrative tasks
- administrating the offer and contract process for new hires;
- administrate employee gifts (e.g. birthday, anniversary), local training programs and long term sick & maternity leave processes
- responsible for file management; creating and maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records, managing personnel files, and updating HRIS systems; - On- & Offboarding
- notify relevant departments (IT, Facilities) to prepare for onboarding and offboarding of employees. Also arrange an onboarding presentation for new colleagues;
- first point of contact if colleagues have any HR related question or problem; - Payroll
- prepare and carry out payroll submission, ensuring timely and accurate information is submitted;
- collaborate with the payroll specialists to resolve issues and ensure smooth processing;
- maintain benefit enrollment, including pension, insurance, and lease bike; - Projects
- collaborate with Facility to organize local projects and company events;
- function as the D&I coordinator for the Dutch site, plan and execute D&I events, host D&I ambassador meetings;
- support and drive Employee Wellbeing initiatives and of course there is space for you to show initiative!
What do you bring?
- Bachelor (HBO) degree or working equivalent, preferably with a specialization in HRM;
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in the field of HR;
- Fluent in both English and Dutch language;
- You are a trustworthy and proactive team player, known for your accuracy and collaborative mindset;
- You are a resident of the Netherlands with a valid work permit.

- A position for 32 hours per week;
