Promotional Compliance Manager
Build Promotional Compliance from scratch, enabling ethical, compliant commercial execution
Are you driven by ethical standards and sound judgment in the pharmaceutical industry? Join us to build our Promotional Compliance framework from the ground up and play a key role in enabling compliant, effective commercial activities across the organization.
Drive meaningful change
As Promotional Compliance Manager, you will play a key role in establishing and building our Promotional Compliance framework from the ground up. You will shape how compliance is embedded across our commercial organization, ensuring that marketing, sales, and promotional activities meet regulatory requirements and ethical standards.
This is a hands‑on and strategic role with end‑to‑end responsibility for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Promotional Compliance setup, ensuring alignment with European and local regulatory requirements. You will establish structure, standards, and practical ways of working in an area where processes are still developing, while owning the review, approval, and continuous improvement of compliance activities across the organization.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Develop, draft, and continuously improve policies, procedures, and guidance related to promotional practices, interactions with healthcare professionals, and third‑party activities.
Establish and manage review and approval processes for promotional and non‑promotional materials and partner activities.
Build and deliver compliance training for commercial teams, ensuring knowledge is understood and applied in daily practice.
Conduct risk‑based reviews and audits, identify gaps, and drive corrective actions.
Act as a key contact point for regulatory bodies and support inspections when required.
Collaborate closely with Legal, Medical Affairs, Marketing, and Sales to embed compliance from the outset.
Your profile
Given the scope and ownership of the role, we are looking for someone who brings the following experience and capabilities:
A degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field
5+ years of experience from the pharmaceutical industry within promotional compliance, medical communications, or a related area.
Motivation to build something new, take ownership, and influence how Promotional Compliance is shaped within a growing organization.
A strong understanding of European and local compliance regulations and industry codes, with the confidence to review, edit, challenge, and approve materials with sound judgment and high accuracy.
A structured, analytical, and pragmatic approach, with the ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical guidance while balancing detail with a strategic perspective.
Clear and confident communication skills, enabling effective collaboration across functions and regions and professional interaction with healthcare stakeholders and regulatory authorities.
Be part of an international community of people who care
You will be part of the Technical Services department, collaborating closely with colleagues across Business Development, Legal, Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs), and Key Account Managers (KAMs). Working at the intersection of regulatory requirements, ethical standards, and commercial execution, you will play a central role in shaping how Promotional Compliance is embedded into day‑to‑day decision‑making across the organization.
By setting clear frameworks and enabling compliant execution, you will help build trust and position the organization as a credible and responsible partner in the market.
