Regulatory MA Deputy Manager
About the role
As Deputy Manager, you will lead one of the teams in our Regulatory Affairs department, responsible for new applications and ongoing maintenance of licenses for parallel traded medicines. Your focus will be on ensuring timely, high-quality applications to health authorities, managing a team of approximately 8–15 people, depending on your experience.
You will also take ownership of projects aimed at improving how we work — balancing regulatory requirements, commercial timelines, and operational efficiency.
Your key responsibilities
- Lead a team handling license applications and maintenance for parallel traded medicines.
- Ensure high-quality submissions and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Support process improvements and implementation of department strategy.
- Manage team workload, capacity, and performance.
- Maintain a clear focus on accuracy, timelines, and team well-being.
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone with experience managing people in a structured, regulated environment. You know how to give direction, prioritize workload, and support your team’s development. You’re also comfortable navigating detailed guidelines and decision frameworks — and ensuring your team does the same.
We expect that you:
- Have 3+ years of experience in a leadership role, ideally in pharma, biotech, or a related field.
- Have worked with administrative or regulatory processes before.
- Hold a degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or a similar field.
- Are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Can work within clearly defined rules — and still find ways to improve how things are done.
