As a Portfolio Analyst, you’ll play a key role in shaping our product portfolio and supporting commercial strategies in Germany’s pharmaceutical market. You’ll join the German Portfolio Management team, which is based at our HQ in Copenhagen. We work closely with Sales, Purchase, and Product Development, combining analytical insights with commercial thinking. Your main responsibilities include:
- Supporting daily portfolio management tasks to secure product availability.
- Assisting in defining and updating sales criteria based on market trends.
- Handle and follow up on customer claims and support communication with stakeholders.
- Contributing to market and portfolio analysis with focus on profitability and segmentation.
- Assisting in tender preparation and evaluation of hospital segment opportunities.
- Support ongoing portfolio projects and system integrations (e.g., ERP and BI tools).
- Coordinating with internal teams across Germany and Copenhagen to ensure alignment.
Fuel for your success in the role
- A Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
- A strong analytical mindset with a passion for problem-solving.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
- Fluency in both German and English.
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.
Additional skills and qualifications:
- Experience or interest in pharmaceuticals, trading, or portfolio management.
- Curiosity or basic knowledge in coding, data analytics, or technical tools (e.g., Python, Power BI, SQL) – a willingness to learn is highly valued.
- Ability to work with and interpret large data sets to create actionable insights.
