Your main responsibilities as Supply Chain Operative

As Supply Chain Operative, you are responsible for the daily tasks in the warehouse under Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Distribution Practices (GDP) license. The goal of the role is to control what is entering and leaving the warehouse ensuring that our customers are happy and complaints are at a minimum.

In this role you will:

• Be responsible for receiving incoming shipment of goods
• Check products and documentation
• Perform DCR
• Perform verification of Falsified Medicines Directive (FMD) compliance of the products
• Administrate the products in ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning)
• Move inventory, either by hand or electric truck
• Maintain accurate inventory
• Pick and pack necessary products
• Arrange boxes for loading for transport
• Prepare shipping documentation
• Dispatch the processed goods
• Manage the receipt and storage of returned goods
• Be responsible for a clean storage of the products
• Discard waste
• Have daily/weekly communication with customers; internal and external

Are you the right candidate?

We are looking for someone who works well in a fast paced environment. The ideal candidate has experience in warehouse activities and shows a proactive attitude in communication and work processes. You are able to work independently and have the ability to set priorities. You are open and honest and able to cooperates in order to achieve goals.

Furthermore, we expect you to:

• Have a MBO degree or equivalent
• Possess Dutch and English written and verbal communication skills
• Have 2 years of work experience in a warehouse environment
• Have an affinity with warehouse systems (e.g., MS Office, D365) and/or willingness to learn the use of these systems

Your Future colleagues in Preparation and Logistics Management (PLM)

The Preparation and Logistics department consists of the Supply Chain Supervisor, two other Supply Chain Operatives, and two Warehouse Assistants, and you shall report into the Manager Preparation and Logistics. The team is young and supportive of one another. PLM is one of several departments within Abacus Medicine B.V., which holds around 70 employees in total.
